Yesterday my husband was diagnosed for having a 1mm. and 4x9x7mm stone in his left kidney the doctor confirm it through CT Stonogram(cost 4,500 at Delos Santos - STI Medical Center). The doctor said he need to undergo shock wave costing 45k for two session but because of lack of budget i ask the doctor if there's any alternative for shock wave or any medicine that my husband can take. The doctor understand us so he give us a prescription of acalka (potassium citrate), sodium bicarbonate and alupurinol for 1 month and after taking the medicine for a month the doctor request my husband to undergo ultrasound again.
The doctor advised my husband to stop eating nuts, beans, soya, yogurt, innards, coffee alcoholic drinks. Take only a little of beef.
I hope the prescribed medicine will help to melt the kidney stone of my husband like the others who take the med and there kidney stone were gone because shock wave is to expensive for us.
